Air Assault Course

Today we ran the air assault course here at Ft Bliss. It wasn't too bad except for the fact they I crushed my ribcage and knocked the wind out of me on the first obstacle. I completed the entire course, but was in some serious pain doing so. Hope I didn't crack a rib or something.

Route Recon

This is what you get when you recon a route to an objective after it has decided to rain for three days straight. We went through miles and miles of puddles and standing water, but the route was passible. And the fun was a bonus.

Gas Chamber

Today was fun, we went to the gas chamber for some CS fun. I am glad I didn't have to take off my mask, it was optional. This makes my 4th trip to the gas chamber and the first time I was given an option whether to take it off or not. My sinuses were just fine and didn't need cleansed so I opted to leave it on. What I didn't know was that they kept opening the door as we passed during our loop of recover and ended up gasing everyone as they passed the door. So I ended up being blinded anyways and spitting and gagging like the crazy people who opted to take their masks off. It burns...It burns. Gotta love CS Gas.
