Anti-personnel mine

This is one of several thousand anti-personnel mines scattered through out my assigned district. This one is missing the trigger mechanism on top. It is a Valmara 69 antipersonnel mine. The roads we travel on are often surrounded by mine fields. I am waiting to get a picture of a sheep or goat blowing up as they graze in these mine fields.
